Join the QRE Team

QRE Team is a Dallas–Fort Worth real estate team at Realty of America. We work with licensed Texas agents who want a steady flow of real buyer and seller conversations, the systems to handle them well, and a team that treats the work as a profession.

This page explains how joining works, what the team provides, what stays yours, and how the business terms are discussed. Nothing here is a promise of income or volume: results depend on your market, your effort and the clients you serve.

If it sounds like a fit, apply online. The application takes about ten minutes, saves as you go, and you can pick it up later from your account.

How joining works

Joining runs in five stages. Each one is a conversation, not a form, and you can stop at any point.

  1. Apply. Tell us about your licence, your markets, your experience and what you want from the next few years. You get a reference number and can follow your status from your account.
  2. Conversation. A team lead calls or meets you to talk through how the team works and whether it fits what you are looking for.
  3. Qualification. We confirm your Texas licence status and sponsorship, and we walk through the business terms under confidential approved materials.
  4. Onboarding. Sponsorship transfer, systems access, profile and compliance steps. The timeframe depends on your current brokerage and TREC processing.
  5. Launch. You start taking team conversations alongside your own business.

What the team provides: buyer and seller conversations from the team's websites and marketing, lead handling and follow-up systems, transaction support, coaching, and a shared brand you can work under.

What stays yours: your clients and relationships, your schedule, your production and the business you bring. Agents join as independent contractors sponsored through Realty of America; the team does not employ agents.

Already licensed and sponsored elsewhere? That is the usual case. Sponsorship transfer is part of onboarding and is discussed before you decide anything.

The business terms

We discuss the business terms openly, in a conversation, and we put them in writing before you decide. On this page we name the categories only; the figures live in confidential approved materials shared during qualification.

  • Fees and splits. How commission is shared between you, the team and the brokerage.
  • Team-provided and agent-sourced business. Different terms apply to conversations the team provides and to business you bring yourself.
  • Marketing costs. What the team covers and what, if anything, you contribute.
  • Caps. Whether any part of the split is capped, and how.
  • Broker approval. Every agreement is approved by the designated broker before it takes effect.

There is no income estimator here on purpose. Your results depend on your market, your effort and your clients, and we would rather show you the terms than promise you a number.

Questions

Do I need a Texas licence to apply?

You can apply while your licence is in progress, but you join the team as a licensed agent. Qualification confirms an active Texas licence and sponsorship with TREC before onboarding starts.

Am I an employee of the team?

No. Agents are independent contractors sponsored through Realty of America. You run your own business under the brokerage's licence and the team's systems and brand.

I am sponsored by another brokerage today. What happens?

That is the usual starting point. Sponsorship transfer is handled during onboarding, after the terms are agreed and approved by the broker, and we talk through timing before you give notice anywhere.

How much experience do I need?

The application asks about your experience and production so the conversation starts in the right place. New and experienced agents are both considered; the terms and the support differ.

How are team conversations assigned?

Conversations from the team's websites and marketing are assigned by market, availability, language and specialty, with a fair rotation and a record of who received what. Assignment rules are explained during qualification.

What about referrals and my own clients?

Your own clients stay yours. Referral arrangements between brokerages follow Texas rules and need broker approval; the team does not promise referral fees on this page.

How do you handle my application details?

Your application is visible to you and to the team members who review applications. We contact you by email, and by phone or text only if you ask us to. You can withdraw the application at any time from your account, and deleting your account removes it.

What happens after I apply?

You receive a confirmation email with your reference. A team lead reviews your application and reaches out to arrange the conversation. Your account shows the current status throughout.

Ready to talk?

Apply online, or ask for a confidential conversation first. Both start with the same short application, and nothing is shared with your current brokerage.
